Live Mentorship for Treating the Throwing Athlete

A 4-week small group cohort for ATs, PTs, and strength coaches who want to sharpen their skillset when working with overhead athletes - live, not another course to sit through alone.

How It Works

  • 4 weeks, one live 90-minute session per week on Zoom
  • Small group cohort - real discussion, not a webinar you half-watch
  • Built for working clinicians: bring your caseload questions, leave with a plan

What You'll Cover

Week 1: Peripheral Nerve Considerations in the Throwing Athlete
Recognize nerve involvement that mimics or compounds shoulder and elbow pathology - and stop missing it in your evaluation.

Week 2: Thrower's Shoulder - Scapular Upward Rotation & Humeral Retrotorsion
Learn to assess and train scapular upward rotation and understand how humeral retrotorsion changes what "normal" ER/IR actually looks like in a thrower.

Week 3: Building Throwing Programs
A framework for constructing return-to-throw progressions that adapt to velocity, workload, and where the athlete actually is in recovery - not a generic protocol.

Week 4: Objective Testing & Data Interpretation in the Upper Extremity
Move past subjective clearance. Learn which objective measures actually predict readiness, and how to interpret the data you're already collecting.
